Assistant/ Associate Professor - Business Analytics/ Information Technology Management

JOB SUMMARY

This is a full time Core Faculty position in the graduate School of Management with responsibilities in the MBA and M.M programs.  Responsibilities include: teaching, academic advising, applied scholarship and/or professional activity and institutional service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Teach courses in the business analytics area such as data mining, applied business statistics, data analytics, business intelligence and data visualization, data architecture, predictive analytics, social media and web analytics,  and/or business technologies (e.g. ERP, SAP), and general information systems/information technology management
  • Student engagement including, but not limited to, recruitment, orientation and advising, supervision of internships
  • Program and curriculum development, participation in program review and outcomes assessment
  • Maintain a program of applied scholarly research or professional activity
  • Institutional service that includes serving as program chair and member of committees within the program, school and across the college

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A PhD or Master’s degree in information systems, information science, or other related disciplines is required; a minimum of 2 years teaching experience and 3-5 years professional experience and a record of applied research and/or professional contributions. Experience in working with a diverse population of adult learners is a plus. Rank is commensurate with experience.
