On May 21, 2013 President Jackson was recognized as “One of the 100 Most Influential People for Latinos in Massachusetts” at the 8th Annual Powermeter celebration held at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Hosted by El Planeta Newspaper, one of the largest Hispanic newspapers in Massachusetts, the Powermeter, or Poderometro, is a highly attended celebration that honors 100 diverse and powerful individuals from all walks of life: business, education, politics, community, entertainment, media, and others.
