Dr. Lyons Elected to Hall of Fame

Dr. David Lyons has been elected to the MA Science Educators Hall of Fame! 

Dr. Lyons has been an integral faculty member of the Cambridge College School of Education/ Science Education Department since 2004.  He has been President of the North Shore Science Supervisors Association for a number of years and had a great deal of input to the standards-based approach to science education in Massachusetts.  Dave has also been instrumental in providing support to the the Massachusetts Science and Engineering/ Technology Standards since their original inception in 2001.

Dr. Lyons previously served as the Science Curriculum Director for Revere Public Schools and continues to share is curriculum expertise as an educational curriculum consultant.  Dave enthusiasticallyhelps to develop competent new Massachusetts science teachers via his role as Senior Science instructor at Cambridge College in the area of physical science.

Dr. Lyons joins his fellow Cambridge College science instructors Professors Tom Vaughn and John Papadonis as members of the elite group of MA Science Hall of Fame Educators!
